SOLVED Hide header image in blog when reading full article (read-more)
Posted 3 years 3 days ago
I'm using the standard Joomla 'Category Blog' menu-type to display various articles in a blog view.
The blog menu has a header module that displays a kind of header image.
When read-more is chosen on a certain article, I would like the header image to disappear. Is this possible somehow? Perhaps to hide the module under certain circumstances?

What Gantry version?

Most likely you need to create hidden menu items for the articles and then you can assign (or unassign) any module from those menu items that you wish:
Create a MENU called "hidden" (no need to create a module to place it anywhere). In the hidden menu, create a MENU ITEM for each of the orphaned articles (single article type) and make sure these menu items are published. Now the hidden menu won't appear on any of your pages, but, the articles will now open in their own page. You can also use the same technique and create a hidden category blog menu item to pick up multiple articles too, thus saving having to create a hidden menu item for every article.
