    SOLVED Rokcommon_configs doesn't exist

Posted 2 months 1 day ago
    • Hi,

After Rok components update, I wasn't able to access either the front or back-end
      My web site : www.les24heures.fr / Joomla
      back end : 1146-Table 'mydatabase' .#__rokcommon_configs' doesn't exist
front end : failed to load 'rt_fluent' template - Please reinstall Gantry 5 Framework!

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can repair my website ?
      Thank you for your help

    • Do you have a backup to restore back to prior to the update?

      If not...

Disable rokcommon extension in the extensions table using PHPMYADMIN then you should be able to get back into your site admin.

Please would you post your URL, superuser id and pswd in the secure tab of your post and I'll have a look for you.

Please post your FTP logon, password and FTP URL in the secure area of your post.

      Regards, Mark.

    • Thank you very much, Mark,
The site seems to be working normally

I temporarily disabled the 2 authentication factors
Let me know when I can reactivate 2 authentication factors.

      :-) :-) :-)

    • Ok I installed rokcommon again just to be sure it's ok and complete. But... I question why you have it installed at all anyway? You did not have roksprocket or rokgalley installed (which are the extensions that use rokcommon). So, for now I just installed roksprocket too. If you don't need roksprocket then uninstall it and then uninstall rokcommon too after that.

      Regards, Mark.

    • I don't know why Rocksproket and Rockcommon were set up. I think they were used with another template in the past.
      I removed them

To solve my problem. What was to be done?
Restore some tables from a database backup?
Restore a part of the site backup ?

Thanks again for your great intervention :-)

    • I copied the missing table from one of your other databases since the content of that table is pretty static anyway. That then stopped the error message that meant you could then log in again and your site worked.
